Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026. These terms govern your use of SaloneFix in Sierra Leone.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using SaloneFix (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
2. Description of service
SaloneFix is a directory that connects customers in Sierra Leone with verified trade professionals (e.g. plumbers, electricians, mechanics). We facilitate discovery and contact only. We do not process payments, hold funds, or use escrow—payment is arranged directly between the customer and the professional. We are not the employer of professionals nor the provider of the underlying trade services; contracts for work are between the customer and the professional.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use SaloneFix. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering, especially as a professional (e.g. trade, service area, experience).
4. Use of the platform
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You must not misuse the Platform (e.g. fraud, harassment, false information). Professionals must perform work to a reasonable standard and honour agreed work; customers and pros arrange payment directly between themselves. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
5. Payments and fees
SaloneFix does not process payments, hold funds, or use escrow. Payment for jobs is arranged directly between the customer and the professional. Any fees we charge for listing or promotion will be disclosed on the Platform or in separate agreements. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.
6. Disputes and cancellation
Disputes between customers and professionals (including payment or work disputes) should be resolved between the parties. SaloneFix may assist with dispute resolution in line with our policies. We do not process payments or hold funds (no escrow), so cancellation and refunds are agreed directly between you and the pro or customer.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaloneFix is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from the conduct of users or professionals. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us (if any) for listing or promotion in the twelve months before the claim. We do not process job payments. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of work performed by professionals.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold SaloneFix and its affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Sierra Leone. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right. For questions, contact us via the Contact Us page.
